SCHOHARIE, N.Y. – Fully involved structure fire leaves a building in ruins early Sunday morning.
Dispatchers from Schoharie County confirm that firefighters were called to the scene of the address located at 1803 State Rt. 165 in the town of Seward just after 6am for a working structure fire.
The house was vacant during the time of the fire and no one was injured in the process of putting it out.
Firefighters were on scene for roughly three hours. Stations assisting were: Sharon Springs, Cobleskill and Richmondville Fire Departments.
The house is said to be completely uninhabitable after the home was completely engulfed in flames.
It is still unknown at this time how the fire started and whether or not anyone was living at this location.
