PITTSFIELD, MA - The Pittsfield man who allegedly murdered a man earlier in December has pleaded not guilty on one count of murder.
25-year-old Kurt Hudson has been charged for allegedly murdering 23-year-old Nikolas Carnute in Pittsfield.
Carnute was found dead on Wellington Avenue on December 4th, lying on the street, after Pittsfield Police received several 911 calls shortly after 11:30 P.M. reporting gun shots.
Hudson was arraigned on Friday morning in the Central Berkshire District Court and entered a not guilty plea.
Hudson will be back in court on January 20, 2012 for a pretrial conference.
