Man charged with attempted murder of Gloversville man

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. - A Brooklyn man has been arrested and is facing more charges than originally expected for the shooting of a Gloversville man in August.

24-year-old Tyquanne Madison is being charged with the shooting of Codie Hayward in his apartment on Littauer Place in August 12, 2011.

Madison was originally charged with Assault 1st-degree by Gloversville Police, however after a Fulton County Grand Jury reviewed the case he is now additionally charged with Attempted Murder 2nd-degree, Criminal Use of a Firearm 1st-degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd-degree.
