Man arrested twice in Knox incident

ALBANY, NY - The Albany County Sheriff's Department says deputies responded to a complaint in Knox on Friday afternoon.

Where a woman said 21-year-old Broderick Murphy, who she lives with, and 42-year-old Vincent Frasier, of the same apartment building, offered to fix a flat tire for her.

Later, Frasier told her Murphy had crashed her vehicle into a ditch while he was teaching him how to drive. Although neither of them had a license.

She filed charges. Both Frasier and Murphy were arrested, then released. Deputies returned them to Murphy's residence.

Less than ten minutes later, police were heading back there after the two got into a fight over the mess they were in.

Murphy said Frasier hit him with a piece of firewood twice in the head.

Murphy was taken to Albany Medical Center.

Frasier was arrested for the second time. He now faces several charges and is in jail waiting a  court appearance.
