Glens Falls dance teacher sentenced for sexual abuse

GLENS FALLS, NY (NEWS10) - A Glens Falls dance teacher was sentenced on Wednesday for sexually abusing one of his young male students.

49-year-old Timothy McGuire, the 30 year owner of McGuire Dance Center, was sentenced to 5 years in state prison in Warren County Court.

McGuire will also be under 10 years of post-release supervision after he gets out of prision and he must register as a sex offender. An order of protection against McGuire will be issued for the victim.
