Two arrested in connection with Watervliet pot bust

WATERVLIET, N.Y. - The Albany County Sheriff's Department uncovered a pot-growing operation in Watervliet on Monday.

Police made the bust at the home located at 1331 Sixth Avenue around 11:00 a.m., where police call a "sophisticated pot-growing operation" was located. Nearly 15 marijuana plants were discovered inside the home, totaling about $15,000.

33-year-old Shawn Patrick, who lived at the residence, and 32-year-old Robert Gloditch were arrested Monday in connection with the incident.

Police say Gloditch was smoking weed inside with Patrick when police knocked on the door.
