Amsterdam man arrested after pushing girlfriend down stairs

AMSTERDAM. N.Y. - Police in Amsterdam arrested a 21-year-old man for allegedly pushing his girlfriend down the stairs while she was holding a child.

Carlos Luna, of Amsterdam, was arrested on Wednesday night after police were called to his residence, at 251 Guy Park Avenue, by a female stating that her boyfriend had pushed her down the stairs while she was holding a young child in her arms.

The female did not report any injuries.

Luna was charged with Harassment, a violation, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
