Road rage leads to stabbing in Wilton


WILTON, NY (WTEN) - The New York State Police arrested a man for a stabbing that occurred after a road rage incident on Saturday.

Frank Soriano, of 87 Dmascus Drive in Wilton, admits to stabbing Jeffery Streicher of Gloversville.

The stabbing happed around 5:30 PM on Northern Pines Road in front of McGregor Links Country Club in Wilton.

Police say the incident began when Soriano allegedly hit the back of Streicher's vehicle with his car. After pulling to the side of the road, both men became involved in a physical altercation. Soriano then stabbed Streicher with a T-handled dagger multiple times.

Streicher was airlifted to Albany Medical Center for injuries.

Soriano is arraigned in the Town of Wilton Court.
