GILBOA, N.Y. (WTEN) - Gilboa Dam is running back to normal, however there is still a flash flood watch there, as they are still inspecting pump station.
Water had been going over the Dam earlier on Sunday, but now it is starting to recede.
No failure was reported.
Residents of Schoharie County downstream of the Blenheim-Gilboa Dam were being advised to move to higher ground because of the potential for flooding along the Schoharie Creek.
All roads in Schoharie County have been closed due to the Dam flooding.
Shelters have been opened at high schools and other locations in Schoharie County.
