Funeral held for 3 other home explosion victims

SALEM, N.Y. - Three more victims of the home explosion last week in Salem were laid to rest Friday.

The funeral for victims 41-year-old Tammy Palmer, along with her son 19-year-old Lawrence Berg Jr., and her grand-daughter 2-month-old Niah Durham was held at the First Presbyterian Church at 1:00 p.m. Friday afternoon.

Niah's father, 20-year-old Darrell Durham has subcumbed to his injuries, passing away Thursday at Westchester Medical Center. Niah's mother is still in critical condition at Albany Medical Center.

The explosion occurred at a home located at 4372 Route 29 near the intersection at Route 22 last Monday. Police in Washington County say they believe the incident was caused by a gas explosion.
