Greenwich art teacher faces more charges

GREENWICH, N.Y. - A Greenwich Elementary School art teacher is now facing more charges for inappropriately touching his students.

A Washington County Grand Jury has indicted 37-year-old Eric McHenry, of Queensbury, on seven counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, all misdemeanors.

McHenry was arraigned on three other charges of endangerment in Cambridge Town Court in March.

In statements obtained by NEWS10, the victims explained how McHenry allegedly rubbed their shoulders, placed his hands on their upper thighs and placed his hands on their lower back.

McHenry taught kindergarten through sixth grade at Greenwich Elementary. NEWS10 was told the cases involve students between the ages of 8 and 12.

McHenry pleaded not guilty, and has been put on paid administrative leave.
