MAYFIELD, N.Y. (WTEN) - A 14-year-old girl was killed in a fatal motor vehicle/pedestrian accident while she was trying to cross the street in the Town of Mayfield on Tuesday night.
Amber Domoulin, 14, of Mayfield, was killed at the intersection of Rt. 30 andd Second Ave. as she was attempting to cross Rt. 30 with an acquaintance. She was struck by a car driven by 85-year-old Gerald Buyce of Northville.
Troopers and the Fulton County Ambulance Corp responded to the scene. Domoulin was sent to Nathan Littauer Hospital and subsequently transported to Albany Medical Center due to the severity of her injuries.
There were several witnesses to the collision and the investigation is ongoing.
