AMSTERDAM, N.Y. - The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man and a woman from Schenectady on drug and forgery charges after being stopped for speeding on Sunday.

23-year-old Jessica Robinson, 314 Paige Street, Schenectady, was stopped by patrols for speeding, and following a license check was found to have three current revocations and three suspensions.

44-year-old Maurice Fane, of 316 VanVranken Ave, Schenectady, was the passenger in Robinson's car and found to be in possession of crack and powder cocaine, along with hydrocodone pills.

Fane was also found to have outstanding bench warrants in three different states. He was arraigned in the City of Amsterdam Court and remanded to the Montgomery County Jail without bail.
