AMSTERDAM, N.Y. - A Montgomery County firefighter who was arrested after being caught with child pornography on a work computer, has now been charged with sexually abusing a child.
31-year-old Randolph Billington, of Amsterdam, is being charged with Sexual Abuse 1st-degree, a felony, for sexually abusing a child under the age of 11-years-old, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a misdemeanor.
A joint investigation by the Amsterdam Police Department and the Montgomery County Child Protective Services discovered that Billington had sexual contact with a victim under the age of 11.
Billington is already incarcerated in Montgomery County Jail on charges against him for possessing child pornography on a computer in the Ft. Johnson Firehouse while on duty.
