Espada and son indicted on embezzlement charges

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Attorney General Andrew Cuomo and a U.S. Attorney are indicting New York Senate Majority Leader Pedro Espada and his son, Pedro G. Espada, on embezzlement charges.

It is a 6 count indictment for embezzling funds from Bronx healthcare clinics

If convicted, they each face up to 10 years in prison on the embezzlement and 5 years for conspiracy.
