Death of man in Gloversville ruled a homicide

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. -- The man found dead Wednesday morning on a Gloversville street was stabbed to death, police said Thursday.

An autopsy performed on 42-year old Brian L. Morrison determined that he died from a hemorrhage after he was stabbed in the right side of his jaw and neck.

His body was discovered at the 140 Block of Bleecker Street -- on a front lawn only 2 miles from his home -- early Wednesday morning.

Morrison was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Morrison was a 23-year employee of the Gloversville Enlarged School District.
