FORT PLAIN, N.Y. -- The Fort Plain police had a very busy past six months, all culminating in a raid that led to the arrest of 14 people.
One investigation at local bar the Canal Street Pub, had undercover officers buying narcotics and counterfeit products from the bar manager.
The raid also recovered $25,000 in cash to pay off back taxes, and one man caught up in the raid is accused of loan sharking.
Montgomery County Sheriff's investigators also purchased drugs in and around Jim's Irish Harbor in Canajoharie, and made purchases of alcohol using underage agents.
Some were also arrested for not paying fines to court.
