ALBANY, N.Y. -- NEWS10 Chief Meteorologist Steve Caporizzo had a busy night Tuesday, helping host "Legislative Idol", a benefit for Pet Connection.

State Lawmakers were at Dale Miller's restaurant in downtown Albany to perform at the charity event.

They sang along with a live band and brought in over $1,300 for homeless animals.
