Lake George beach still closed after sewage spill

It could now be Thursday before a Lake George beach that was shut down by a sewage spill reopens.

Lake George Mayor Robert Blaise tells NEWS10 that Shepard's Park Beach will remain closed until then, depending on results on some more tests.

8,000 to 10,000 gallons of sewage spilled there after a pipe broke over the Fourth of July weekend.

Million Dollar Beach, another one affected by the spill, has since reopened, but the Village is being careful before opening Shepard's.
