Colonie police have made an arrested the owner of Saratoga Winners in the fire of the landmark former music venue.

The old concert hall, that was a fixture on Route 9, burned to the ground on April 30th.

Colonie police tell NEWS10 that an accelerant was found at numerous locations inside and outside the wood-framed building, that dated back to the early 1900's.

The owner, 43-year-old Akiva Abraham, is now charged with arson and insurance fraud.

The fraud charge, police say, comes from Abraham allegedly buying an insurance policy for the property, based on a fraudulent mortgage loan.
