Saratoga Convention Tourism Bureau bookkeeper accused of stealing $220K

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) - The Saratoga Police Department arrested a woman they say stole thousands from the Saratoga Convention Tourism Bureau.

Kathryn Price, 57, is accused of forging Bureau checks and taking the money for her own personal use. Price was the long-time bookkeeper for the Bureau.

Police say as early as 2015, Price forged nearly 200 checks amounting to more than $220,000.

She was charged with second-degree grand larceny.

Price was arraigned and released on $5,000 cash bail.

Police say additional charges may be filed pending further investigation.
