Capital Craft Beverage Trail launches new passport program

ALBANY, NY (NEWS10) - The Capital Craft Beverage Trail (CCBT) has launched a Passport program designed to help Capital Region residents plan fun, educational and rewarding visits to the many craft beverage producers that make up the CCBT.

Passports are free of charge and available at any of the producer member locations, and the Albany Heritage Area Visitors Center. The members of this program produce fermented and distilled beverages from Warren, Saratoga, Schenectady, Washington, Rensselaer, Albany, Columbia and Greene counties.

The Passport map is organized by county. When participants make a purchase at any producer named in the passport, their Passport will receive two stamps-one on the producer’s page, and one on a perforated tear-out sheet at the back. Stamps can be redeemed for prizes. Details are included inside the passports.

The program kicks off at Drink Saratoga, a pop-up New York State craft beverage tasting event. Drink Saratoga is taking place on the floor of the Saratoga Automobile Museum from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on June 15.
