SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) - An apparent tornado has caused damage in Springfield, Mass.
Video shows a debris-filled funnel roaring through the downtown area. It also shows vehicles overturned after the winds passed through.
There was no immediate word on injuries. The television station reported heavy damage in the city's South End section.
An area of the East Coast from Pennsylvania to Maine has been under a tornado watch for much of the day.
