
ALBANY, N.Y. -- An unknown issue caused outages for customers of Time Warner Cable's Digital Phone Service for most of Tuesday.
Incoming and outgoing calls across New York State and Western Massachusetts were affected in the outages, which company spokesperson Stephanie Salanger referred to as intermittent and not related to any weather issues.
By 11 p.m., NEWS10 was infromed the problems had been resolved. In an email update, Salanger said, "(Time Warner) will continue to closely monitor the situation to ensure ongoing reliability."
The company says they are investigating what happened and are taking steps to prevent any recurrence.
