CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. - A 14-year-old female, and her 15-year-old boyfriend, were announced missing Tuesday afternoon, and emailed home Wednesday night to let their parents know they are 'okay.'

14-year-old Chiara Lisi, of Clifton Park, and 15-year-old Aaron Cadman, of Brunswick, are thought to have 'run away' together and were announced missing from their homes Tuesday.

According to the Rensselaer County Sheriff, Cadman contacted his father with an email Wednesday night letting him know he and Lisi, are both okay.

Cadman is thought to be driving his family's gold 2004 Lexus 330 and in possession of a handgun.

According to police, the teens did some careful planning before leaving home, as they took a couple-hundred dollars and left their cell phones home in order to avoid detection.

The police are hoping the teens will simply grab the attention of authorities so their parents can pick them up.

Both the Cadman and Lisi family released the following statement to News10: "We want Chiara and Aaron to come home. We want them to know they are not in trouble and that they can call us anytime, day or night. Chiara and Aaron are two good kids from good families and all they have to do is to reach out and their families will be there for them.  They can call us if they need help and they can know that we are here for them and that we love them."

Information obtained that the subjects are possibly heading to New Jersey. A facebook page has been set up by Lisi's friends in effort to help find her.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Saratoga County Sheriffs Office, at 518-885-6761.
