CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. - Two Rensselaer men have been arrested in connection with a robbery from Northern Lights concert venue on February 19.
22-year-old Shawn McCarthy and 21-year-old Nicoli Ninas were arrested following an investigation, accused of stealing a safe from the popular night club in Clifton Park that contained $35,000, after allegedly breaking in to Northern Lights.
A third suspect who is an employee of Northern Lights, 24-year-old Jesse Lavin, was questioned about the incident, was found to have committed suicide, dead in his apartment on Feb. 21.
The safe was found several days after the robbery was reported in the Hudson River in Poughkeepsie.
