
SCHENECTADY – Police have arrested and charged a 28-year-old woman with the stabbing of a 14-year old boy during a fight early Saturday morning. Authorities said Letesha Henry is facing attempted murder charges. The teen suffered internal injuries and is in critical condition at Albany Medical Center Hopsital.
Police were called to Odell Street at 1:58 a.m. Saturday after receiving multiple reports of a fight. When they arrived they found the teen stabbed in the back.
Schenectady police arraigned Letesha Henry Sunday morning. She's been charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. Police said she used a large knife to stab the teen.
Police said their investigation is ongoing and they're still working to determine what started the fight.
