REXFORD, N.Y. -- It was once on the market for nearly $13 million, But the Llenroc mansion in Rexford has been sold at a shocking price - $1.9 million.

It was once home to disgraced insurer Albert Lawrence and went up for sale in October of 2007, just before the crash of the real estate market.

The home has a helicopter pad, fifteen fireplaces, ten bathrooms, a five-story elevator, and ceilings gilded in 24 karat gold.

Lawrence was sentenced in 2000 to 20 years in prison for embezzlement, fraud, and tax evasion. He died in 2002.
